When the Azerbaijani army attacked Armenia this week, details of the atrocities it committed were provided to the Armenian diplomatic corps. On Friday, the diplomatic corps met with Army Chief of Staff Edward Asrian in Jermuk, where heavy shelling ended. The severe mutilation of an Armenian female warrior captured by the Azerbaijani armed force was one of Asrien's models. Video of the assault would be shown to negotiators, the military chief of staff said.

The army chief of staff stated during a briefing that surveillance footage showed that an Azerbaijani military group of 50 to 60 individuals had left northern Jermuk, which is located in the Vayots Zor province. He stated that there is currently only one Azerbaijani military group in Jermuk. 

It is located on a ridge 4.5 kilometers (2.7 miles) from the city and is surrounded by Armenian soldiers. With different soldiers, they can't get to Jermuk's edges. There is only one group on the hill. If they aren't given food and water, the hostile group will have to leave the country in a few days if they want to stay alive. Asirian informed the diplomat that our detachment was encircling the group. 

He stated that the strategic situation in the area was stable and promised that the group would eventually leave. There won't be any cars driving into our neighborhood. None at the moment. Because they cannot transport food or water, this force will retreat and join their main detachment further from Jermuk's perimeter. Asirian explained that the Armenian army began responding to the Azerbaijani attack shortly after midnight on Tuesday. 

However, a number of positions were lost due to what he described as the "advantage of enemy forces." He stated that these areas are the Azerbaijani army's bases. which makes it possible for hundreds of troops to thoroughly penetrate the Armenian defense zone. He asserted that Azerbaijani soldiers had the option to propel 11 to 12 kilometers (6 to 7 miles) into Armenian domain after almost 48 hours of battling. 

Asriyan informed diplomats that the area had not shrunk to 4.5 kilometers (2.7 miles). It suggests that the Armenian army may regain control of them. Armenian diplomats paid a visit to Jermuk and witnessed some of the most contentious areas this year. They were able to assess the extent of damage to civilians and community structures themselves.
