Orange Squash is a melody by the American elective musical crew R.E.M. It was delivered as the main single from the band's 6th studio collection, Green, in 1988. Despite reaching number one as a promotional single on both the Mainstream and Modern Rock Tracks (where, at the time, it had the record for longest stay at number one with eight weeks, beating U2), it was not commercially released in the United States. 

The band promoted the song by making their first appearance on Top of the Pops, where it reached number 28 on the UK Singles Chart, making it the band's highest chart hit at the time.

The band won its first VMA for Best Post-Modern Video for the song video, which was directed by Matt Mahurin. Additionally, Orange Crush" was the category's first winner. The band is not at all featured in the black-and-white-only video.

The song was included on the Warner Bros. Records compilation titled "In Time" by R.E.M. The Best of R.E.M. 1988-2003 out of 2003, and a live form shows up on the R.E.M. Live collection kept in Dublin in 2005. The chemical defoliant Agent Orange, developed by Monsanto Corporation and Dow Chemical and used in the Vietnam War, is referred to in the song's title.

Stipe opened the melody during the Green World Visit by singing the U.S. Armed force selecting motto, "Be all you can be... in the Military. Stipe's dad served in the Vietnam Wa.
