In the meantime, the state minister of health retaliated against the BJP for its "vicious politics" by claiming that the alleged clip is part of a "conspiracy" to harm his reputation.The minister issued a statement stating that he has already filed an FIR in the matter and labeling the alleged video chat as "fake and edited."

"A phony and altered video has been intentionally circled via web-based entertainment. It is abundantly clear that the video was edited using any other app or photoshopped. In the matter, I have already submitted a FIR. I will seek after legitimate activity against those behind this phony video," the Congress chief said.
